The Orillia and Lake Country region is one of Ontario’s most picturesque area’s with radiant lakes and rivers and an array of activities for all to enjoy year round. Located just 90 minutes north of Toronto in Simcoe County, on the shores of Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching and the Trent-Severn Waterway, some of the best boating, paddling, swimming, and water sports in Canada can be found here.

In addition, the region offers fantastic outdoor recreational activities such as trail cycling, mountain biking, skiing, hiking and so much more! Along with welcoming towns, resorts and great events, the region is truly a four-season playground.

Getting Here

From South & West Toronto

From Toronto International Airport and west of Toronto, take 401 East to 400 North. Follow 400 North through Barrie then keep left onto highway 11 north towards Orillia. Once North of Barrie you are in Oro-Medonte Township.

From East Toronto

Take highway 401 West to 400 North. Follow 400 North through Barrie then keep left onto highway 11 north towards Orillia. Once North of Barrie you are in Oro-Medonte Township

From North Bay

Take Highway 11 South towards Huntsville, follow through Muskoka you will come to Washago, Severn Township which is the North end of Lake Country.

From Parry Sound

Take Highway 400 South, to Port Severn, continue to Highway 12 East, you will be entering Lake Country through Severn Township in the West.
