We are a 4-season destination and home to an extensive collection of multi-use recreational trails ideal for road-cycling, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Traverse through beautiful and natural canopied trails in the Copeland Forest or follow the shoreline of Lake Simcoe on the Lake Country Oro-Medonte Rail Trail as part of the larger Simcoe Loop Trail. Plan a visit to the Simcoe County Forest Tracts, these public recreation trails are maintained by volunteers such as the Simcoe County Mountain Biking Club, who maintain and build single track trails.
Take in the beautiful and scenic views that Oro-Medonte offers, from picturesque countryside to the hills and valleys with stunning scenery and wide open spaces. Plan a stop for some fresh farm gate sales or enjoy a patio along the way, with tasty eats and locally made cider or hops beer.
