Tap Into
Maple

Tap into Maple hits the sweet spot!

It’s that sweet time of year again, as the days and nights get warmer, and sap starts flowing through maple trees, the sweetest trail you will find in Central Ontario is the one that will lead you to all things maple in Orillia & Lake Country. Running March 6 to April 5 (just in time for Maple Weekend), Tap into Maple is an opportunity to visit the region’s maple syrup producers, enjoy special maple-themed experiences, shopping art and all things maple and indulge in local maple-inspired cuisine.

This year’s program truly showcases the deep roots of maple in our region through Experiences, Taste and Shop options. Follow a self-guided journey along lesser-traveled routes to working sugar shacks, where maple producers invite you to Experience first hand – from harvesting sap to boiling and tasting fresh syrup.

Taste maple in all its forms at local restaurants, breweries and cafes featuring maple-inspired menus and craft brews. Complete your maple adventure by shopping maple-infused treats, spa experiences, artisanal goods and maple-inspired art at everything from roadside farm stands, markets, local retailers and art shops, each offering a unique expression of this iconic harvest.
